Helen Steele lives in Co Monaghan.
She is an artist, fashion designer and printmaker.
Helen loves colour and she works with paint in a very active and fun way. She puts colours together in a container and throws the paint onto a canvas.
Helen photographs the paint as it slides down the canvas and blends together. Then she uses these photos to create her designs.
Helen has designed expensive clothes which some famous people wear.
She has also designed leisure wear for Dunnes Stores which you and I might wear.

She learned how to sew from her Granny when she was a little girl and she enjoyed making clothes for her dolls. But she got into trouble with her mum for cutting up her First Holy Communion dress to make a skirt!
Helen has ADHD. When she was a child she needed to take movement breaks and she found that drawing and colouring helped her. Now she finds running a help.
