Good Morning Rang a Cúig,
I hope you are all doing well this morning. Haven't we been blessed with the weather? I hope you all enjoyed the sunshine over the long weekend. We had a pretty lazy weekend here. Indie and I went for a few walks and she was surprisingly well behaved. We went to the lakes on Sunday but the tide was really far out so she couldn't swim and she could barely paddle but she did enjoy digging in the squelchy sand. The rest of the time, we just chilled in the garden. Lola isn't so keen on the heat because of her long heavy fur, so she tends to wait until the evening to go out. As you can see, I enjoyed the sunshine along with the rest of the crew, and Pip even tried out the hammock with me.

Have you seen the post on the homepage of this website? Mrs Gillick is organising a really AMAZING Whole School art project called "Le Chéile agus Óna Chéile" (Together and Apart). It's a great project that we hope all students and staff will take part in. All you have to do is create a postcard sized "I am..." picture and send it into us. We are hoping to put it on display in the community over the next few weeks. I am going to take part and I hope you will all take part too. It is a great way of showing that even though we have been apart from the classroom, we have still been together in spirit. It should be a fun activity for you to do this week so take a look at the guidelines on the homepage and get started on it. I can't wait to see the entries from our class.
This week we are celebrating Wellbeing as a school, so a lot of your activities through Aladdin will be looking at how we celebrate our own wellbeing.

When we talk about wellbeing, we are talking about feeling good and strong in our minds and in our bodies. It is not always easy to feel that way, especially at the moment when we might be missing our friends, our families, our classmates, our school or we might be worried about everything that is going on. It is ok to feel like this but it is important that when we do feel like this, we know we can talk to someone and we can find ways to cope with these feelings and learn new ways to help ourselves feel good and strong again.
Hopefully, you will enjoy the wellbeing activities on Aladdin this week, many of them you could do together as a family perhaps. If you have any questions about any of the activities just let me know.
I know I said I would put up the My Day pages today but I will leave that until tomorrow or Thursday as today's Blog is already pretty busy, so if anyone still wants to send me their page, I would love to see it. It can be for any day, or for the whole weekend.
Have a lovely day Rang a Cúig,
Enjoy the sunshine,
Take Care and Stay Safe,
Ms Cheevers
