Good morning Rang a Cúig,
I hope you're all well today and have had a good morning so far.
So, I think we might have a bit of a problem...it seems there may be a little bit of jealousy creeping in here. I'm beginning to wonder if I have some very clever cats who have been reading this Blog over my shoulder, because I suspect they are not impressed by all the attention their Doggy Sibling has been getting and want to make sure they get a mention and get their photos posted today.

It would seem that Pip and Ruben have the job of dealing with me, making sure I post their photos, while Lola's job is to keep Indie distracted. Sometimes I wonder who is really in charge in my house? It's certainly doesn't seem to be the humans today, or any day! I think I'm just here to provide food, shelter and belly rubs to these four-legged creatures.
Oh, I think I'm also here provide a walk for Indie when she decides she wants it. It looks like a nice day today, so we might get to go for a walk this afternoon.
Have you any plans to go outside, to get some fresh air and stay active today? I know the government have said that up to four people of different households can meet up outdoors staying within our 5km radius and that is great news, maybe we can meet a few of our friends now.
Just please remember your SOCIAL DISTANCING Rang a Cúig, it is still so important to keep that 2 metres distance if we are to stay safe and take care of each other.
Perhaps as a task for today and to link in with the length we are doing in maths you could mark out 2 metres in your garden, using string, skipping ropes, sweeping brushes or draw it with chalk, just try to get an idea of how long 2 metres really is, it is actually longer than you would think.

We still all have a part to play in keeping ourselves, our families and our communities safe so make sure you are doing your bit.
Don't forget, if any of you have any questions about the work I send through Aladdin, just put your questions in a Google Doc and share it with me or ask a parent to send me an email ([email protected]). You can share any work with me or a parent can send it to me if you like. I am still your teacher even though we are not in the classroom and I am here to help you as best I can, so make sure if you are worried or unsure about something to let me know. And remember, I love to hear from you so let me know how you are doing, let me know if you have done something fun or exciting or something that you are proud of. Let me know if your pets are as clever and crafty as mine.
Have a lovely day Rang a Cúig,
Get out and get active in that sunshine,
Take Care and Stay Safe,
Ms Cheevers
and RUBEN,
and PIP,
and LOLA
and Indie.
