Good morning Rang a Cúig,
How are you all doing this morning? I hope everyone is well and that all your families are keeping well too. We're almost at the weekend and it looks like we have another lovely day today, although I did think it was a little colder yesterday even though the sun was shining.
Well done to Kacey who found 60 words in IndiePipRubenLola and Yosr who found 50 words, and well done for not cheating on Google!
Speaking of our favourite pup (well, my favourite pup at least!), she COMPLETELY, TOTALLY and UTTERLY refused to go for her walk yesterday. We made two attempts to go, we barely got out the door and she decided she'd had enough so that was that, and home we went, even the treats didn't work yesterday.
She wasn't too impressed when I left her back home and set out on my walk without her! And she was even less impressed when Ruben went to sleep on her blanket later on without asking permission first. Look at Indie's sulky face. You see, the pink blanket Ruben is sleeping on is Indie's. She got it as a present a few years ago, it was made especially for her by a very kind person. It even has Indie's name stitched on it, so she doesn't like it when anyone else (people or cats!) use it.
She knows she'll get in trouble though if she gives out to Ruben so she just had to sulk and wait until he moved. I think Ruben knows it annoys Indie so that's why he sleeps on it sometimes. Cats and dogs can be just like brothers and sisters! I hope you are getting along with your siblings right now and not winding each other up like Ruben is winding Indie up.

So, in keeping with that theme here's a challenge for today:
Kindness Challenge: Do something nice for a sibling, if you don't have a sibling then do something nice for a parent or another family member.
Nature Activity: Make a Flower Petal Collage. This is a lovely activity, that can produce a really nice piece of art. With permission, collect different coloured and sized petals and flowers. Use them to make a collage, or even lay them out on the ground or grass, create a picture or design and take a photo. If you have contact sticky paper, you can make a sun catcher. Check out the examples on the Covid-19 Outdoor Activities page. And send me a photo of your artwork afterwards if you can. You are such a creative class, I would love to see how it works out for you.
I came across this Brain Teaser this morning so I thought I'd share it with you. You may have seen it before but it's fun to try it again. Get your family to join in too, I guarantee it will make you all laugh.

It is a Bright Sunshiny Day today Rang a Cúig, so make sure to get out and spend some time in the fresh air. And don't forget you can send me on pictures of any artwork or activities you are doing. We can share them on our class blog or on the Art Gallery and Our Work sections of the website. I miss talking to you every day so it is lovely to see and hear about what you are getting up to.
Have a lovely day,
Be Kind to One Another (especially your siblings today!)
Take Care and Stay Safe,
Ms Cheevers
