Dear 1st Class,
I hope you are keeping safe and enjoyed the bank holiday weekend.
It has been great to see how hard you have been working on all the different activities. For the last two weeks you have been working on projects on an animal you might find in the zoo. You have all done some great research on lots of different animals. Myself and Sammy had great fun learning about the Giant Pandas, Giraffes, Elephants Ostriches and penguins!.....Did you know Giant Pandas can weigh up to 150KG!? and that Elephants live for up to 60-70 YEARS!? and that Giraffes sleep standing up!
We loved all your amazing drawings and pictures too, and there we also spotted some great handwriting!
This month we are focusing on biodiversity as a whole school, some activities involve getting outside into nature and exploring the plants and animals around us.
As a class we are also looking at emotions and our feelings and how it's ok to have lots of different emotions, especially at this time.
Your extra weekly activities are attached below. If you have any questions about the work, or would like me to correct or see the work feel free to email it on!
Also Sammy wanted to have a BIRTHDAY SHOUT OUT to Hedi for his birthday in March, and to Daniel and Alex who celebrated their birthdays in April! Happy Birthday guys!!
I hope you all have a great week!
Ms Doyle.
